- Q: What major or field of study should I choose?
Our advising team is happy to help you explore different major options and connect students with faculty to discuss programs! We offer a diverse range of academic programs rooted in a Christian worldview, including majors in theology, biblical studies, education, psychology, business, and more. Our curriculum integrates faith and learning to provide students with a holistic education that prepares them for success in their chosen field.
- Q: How do I navigate the course registration process?
An assigned advisor will build a schedule based on your preferences. Any changes needed to be made can be done via email discussion with your advisor or on Crimson Day (orientation day).
- Q: What resources are available for academic support and tutoring?
Tutoring is offered through the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) lab. Rochester Christian University is committed to providing appropriate services and accommodations that allow identified students with disabilities access to academic programs, housing, or institutional offerings. Students with a disability must self-identify, request accommodations, and provide documentation to support the request.Students can also request accommodations with documentation. All services and resources are free to RCU students.
- Q: How can I get involved in clubs, organizations, and extracurricular activities?
There are so many opportunities to get involved on campus! Students can be recruited for the following sports at RCU: basketball, volleyball, baseball, wrestling, soccer, cheerleading, bowling, cross country, track and field, golf, lacrosse, and eSports. Clubs include Student Business Senate, National Society of Leadership and Society, Pre-Health Society, Student Nursing Association, student media creation (Shield Media), and Creative Writing Club. In addition, Student Life provides many opportunities to get involved on campus throughout the school year.
- Q: What is campus life like, and what amenities are available on campus?
Our campus provides a range of academic support services, including tutoring, writing assistance, academic advising, and access to library resources. We also offer study groups and workshops to help students develop essential study skills and succeed academically. In addition, the Spiritual Life area of Student Life at Rochester Christian University exists to provide the campus community with opportunities for spiritual growth and reflection that lead to deeper connection with self, God, and others, as we seek to participate in greater service with God’s world. Spiritual Formation Opportunities include bible studies, small groups, monthly worship night, and more.
- Q: What is the GPA/testing requirement for admission?
Rochester Christian University is test optional and a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for admission.

Career Support maintains the university’s online postings for internships and full and part-time employment opportunities, works with academic departments to help connect students with internship opportunities and provides a variety of resources to students seeking to explore career options.
