Student Leadership Program
Our Leadership program engages students in the exploration of leadership theory and practice through the many opportunities and organizations on the Rochester Christian University campus. Through leadership experiences, you’re given the opportunity to make a positive impact on the campus and surrounding community, and gain valuable knowledge and skills to support your post-graduate pursuits.
Students selected for Student Leadership embody the best of Rochester Christian University and gain valuable experience in public relations and marketing, pastoral care, written and oral communication, team building, team management and much more.
Emerging Leaders
Student Life Emerging Leaders are critical in the process of shaping the student experience at Rochester Christian University. As part of the Student Life Leadership program, emerging leaders participate in roles that support and advocate for campus-wide community building, academic pursuits, spiritual formation, health and wellness, social justice and community service. As student leaders engaged in nurturing a greater capacity for leadership in these areas, emerging leaders will develop the skills necessary to become among the most approachable, friendly, relational, and amongst the most successful RCU students.
Emerging Leaders gain leadership and real work experiences in the areas of marketing, public relations, public speaking, branding, team building, pastoral care, and the management of others. Working in the Center for Student Life, all leaders are genuinely interested in the development and success of the college and the RCU student experience.
Fellowship Leaders
Student Life Fellowship Leaders are at the heart and soul of Rochester Christian University. As part of the Student Life Leadership program, each fellowship leader participates in one of four possible Leadership tracks; Student Engagement, Community Living, Spiritual Formation, or Student Care. As proven student leaders in these areas, Fellowship students are very approachable, friendly, relational, and amongst the most successful RCU students on campus.
Fellowship Leaders gain leadership and real work experiences in the areas of marketing, public relations, public speaking, branding, team building, pastoral care, and the management of others. Working in the Center for Student Life and closely with the Admissions Office, Fellows are genuinely interested in the development and success of the university and new students.
