Residence Halls

Alma Gatewood Hall

Constructed in 1970, Alma Gatewood (AG) houses over 130 students with both male and female floors in the building.

 

Residence Rooms

Alma Gatewood has suite-style living with double occupancy rooms that are connected by a shared bathroom.

Each floor has a:

The AG Lobby is open to all students residing in AG to hang out, do homework, watch TV, play board games, or study. The lobby has a computer and printer available to students, and is also where you’ll find your campus mailbox.

Ferndale-Hoggatt Hall

Ferndale-Hoggatt Hall consists of two separate wings: Hoggatt Hall serves as the male wing, and Ferndale Hall serves as the female wing. Constructed in 1997, Ferndale-Hoggatt Hall houses over 130 students.

On the first floor of each wing, you’ll find a kitchenette with a seating area, sink, and stove. The lobby, known as Dearborn Commons, connects the two wings of the residence hall and is open to both men and women to hang out, do homework, watch TV, play board games, or study. The lobby has a computer and printer available to students, and is also where you’ll find your campus mailbox.

Palmer Hall

Palmer Hall is a one-story building with eight studio apartment units. Palmer Hall is ideal for residents who are 25 years or older and married couples seeking to live on campus. The apartment units are carpeted, with a walk-in closet and a small bathroom. Five of the units offer kitchenettes with one refrigerator, one stove, counter space, and kitchen cabinets. The laundry facility is located on the first floor of Ferndale/Hoggatt Hall and has five washing machines and six dryers. Students interested in living in Palmer Hall must contact Residence Life professional staff in advance of the semester, with priority given to married couples.
