Meet Katherine!

Hi! My name is Katherine Folmar and I am an Assistant Director of Admissions at Rochester Christian University. My role is to guide prospective transfer students through the process of becoming a RCU Warrior! I work primarily with transfer students from Macomb Community College and oversee our partnership with Macomb. I also am the main point of contact for prospective international students interested in RCU.

I have been a member of the RCU Admissions team since 2019. I find the RCU community to be welcoming, supportive, and engaging and look forward to speaking with interested students and families about everything that our institution has to offer.

My own educational background consists of my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mandarin Chinese and French from Calvin University and my Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership: Higher Education/Student Affairs from Eastern Michigan University. In my time outside of RCU you can find me balancing too many hobbies while drinking copious amounts of tea.
