Personal

Carol’s interest in mass communication began as a pre-teen when she traveled to Zambia with her parents and brother on a church music mission trip. She moved to England after 10th grade and lived there for 15 years. Carol taught public school for five years in inner city London after completing her postgraduate certificate in education. She enjoys travel, writing, reading, and is passionate about theatre, whether directing or onstage or behind the scenes. Any opportunity to share these activities with Carol’s two daughters, or other family and friends, who are spread between two continents, is an added blessing.

Carol received the Faculty Member of the Year award in 2022.
