Dr. Jerrica Pitzen Authors Two Manuscripts Accepted for Publication

Dr. Jerrica Pitzen is the first author on a paper titled, “Parenting Reflectivity and Mind-Mindedness as Unique Predictors of Children’s Attachment Security and Social-Emotional Development.” This paper is being published in the British Journal of Developmental Psychology which is an international journal covering all aspects of psychological development across the lifespan. The journal publishes research in biological, social, motor, perceptual, cognitive, language, neural, clinical, personality, social, and emotional development as well as atypical development, and welcomes original empirical research, novel theoretical reviews, methodological papers, and systematic reviews. The journal is committed to open science and encourages research and theory relevant to underrepresented populations.
She is also the first author on a paper titled, “The Michigan Model of Infant Mental Health-Home Visiting Increases Preventive Services while Decreasing Emergency Services for Children.” This paper will be published in Frontiers in Psychology, which is described as “the most cited journal in its field, exploring psychological sciences – from clinical research to cognitive science, and from animal cognition to social psychology.”
