Program Overview
The Certificate of Biblical Interpretation at RCU prepares you to engage Christian Scripture personally and in service of communities of faith. This seated (no online option), non-credit bearing certificate is for lay leaders, lay Bible class teachers, ministers looking for a refresher, those discerning a potential shift into part-time ministry, or those looking to learn more about the Bible in an academic setting.

- Scripture: Students interpret scripture contextually and theologically for the sake of local communities of faith and God’s world

REL1013 Survey of Biblical Literature
BIB 2333 Interpretation of the Old Testament or BIB 2983 Interpretation of the New Testament
Choose from any BIB 3000+ Textual Class or MIN 3813 Ministry of the Word
