As a member of the RCU community, you have access to the University’s exclusive online networking platform, RCUConnect. This powerful tool will help you make connections with the Warrior community across the globe and build meaningful relationships that can last a lifetime.
Join your fellow Warriors on RCUConnect
Take advantage of the global network of those in the RCU community who are willing to help! The RCUConnect platform offers a place for alumni, friends, faculty, staff and students to connect with Rochester Christian University and each other in a meaningful way. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started building your personal and professional network on RCUConnect:
Create or Update Your Profile
Get started at connect.rochesterU.edu.
If you’re logging in for the first time, you will need to thoroughly answer the profile questions and request to join. Note that it may take 2 business days for your request to be approved.
Once you’re logged into RCUConnect, click on the top right and complete your profile. You can sync with LinkedIn, or make sure to upload a photo and include past and present work experience, interests, willingness to help, and more.
Your profile acts as an introduction, and helps the RCU community get to know you better!
Find Your Calling
Are you interested in giving back to students and alumni as a mentor? Are you looking for a job or career advice? Do you have a business or company to promote? Are you looking to reconnect with classmates or join an affinity group?
Make A Connection
Community Directory | Search the directory to connect with members of the RCU community. You can invite other alumni to join RCUConnect, or connect directly with users through video chat, messaging, or meeting requests directly from RCUConnect. Use this feature to find and connect with other Warriors in your region, industry, class year, or school.
Groups | Join or create a group based on school or grad year, affinity groups and extra-curricular activities, area of study, interests, industry or career groups, and more! The groups feature on RCUConnect will allow you to create events, communicate, and share information, and can help get you connected with mentorship and career opportunities.
Events | Do you want to host or promote an exciting upcoming event, or search for an event near you? Now you can even host a virtual event within a group!
Find a Job or Post a Job
Local and national jobs/internships are posted regularly. Job seekers can search by industry or job type, and location.
Support or Promote Your Business
The RCUConnect Business Directory is a powerful tool that helps alumni and community members promote their businesses to the entire RCUConnect community. Search the Business Directory to find a business near you to take advantage of special offers, or post your business for FREE promotion to the RCU community.
Become a RISE Mentor
Mentors serve as positive role models while providing valuable guidance, support and encouragement to students as they navigate through the challenges of transitioning from an academic to professional life. Create a profile on RUConnect, make sure you select RISE Mentor when registering. Mentors will be contacted by the RISE program coordinator in the fall.
