RCU’s School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences offers majors that can prepare you to fill that demand. From computer information systems to biology, you can choose from a variety of complex and diverse career paths. No matter which path you choose, you’ll receive a strong foundation of comprehensive knowledge and critical thinking skills.

As technology and culture change the social landscape of our world, so too does human behavior change with it. RCU’s School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences offers majors in cognitive and behavioral science that can help you understand this social evolution while assisting others with their emotional, mental, social, and spiritual needs. Whether you choose to focus on the fundamentals of human behavior, the theory and practice of clinical and counseling psychology, the functions of the human brain (neuroscience), or the social applications of behavioral studies (behavioral science), we have a program for you. Courses embrace the Christian model of service in tandem with best practices in scientific research.  

Courses in social work are designed to prepare students for graduate work in social services. If you’re not planning on pursuing a master’s degree, our psychology and social work students have found employment in entry-level positions at various agencies within the field.
