Dr. Bonnie McIntosh Leads Research Partnership with the City of Auburn Hills

Dr. Bonnie McIntosh, Chair of Public Health and Healthcare Administration programs led a team of community members, faculty and students to influence impactful outcomes in the City of Auburn Hills. RCU student scholars, Rebekah Nold and Chandler Ellison, will disseminate their findings this October. The abstract titled “A Protocol for Capacity Building Using a Community-Based Participatory Research Approach” was accepted for presentation at the Great Lakes Chapter of the Society for Public Health Education (GLC-SOPHE) in October, 2025. The Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) is an international organization that promotes health equity, healthy behaviors, healthy communities, and healthy environments.
